Country Manager – UAE

Role Description The Country Manager – UAE is a part-time remote role responsible for representing the platform and its mission within the United Arab Emirates. This role involves building and maintaining strategic relationships with public and private stakeholders in the UAE water sector, including utilities, regulators, technology providers, and research institutions. The Country Manager will identify collaboration opportunities, promote innovation programs, and coordinate knowledge-sharing activities, events, and initiatives relevant to the UAE market. They will monitor local industry trends, provide market insights, and report on progress toward partnership and engagement targets. The role also includes working closely with the regional and global teams to align UAE initiatives with the platform’s overall strategy and objectives.QualificationsExperience in business development, stakeholder engagement, or partnership management within the water, sustainability, or related infrastructure sectors.Strong skills in relationship building, networking, and communication, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders across public and private organizations.Knowledge of the UAE market, regulatory environment, and key players in the water and environmental sustainability ecosystem.Proficiency in planning and coordinating projects, events, or initiatives, with solid organizational and time-management skills suitable for a part-time remote setup.Ability to conduct market research, synthesize insights, and prepare clear reports and presentations for internal and external audiences.Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic would be an advantage.Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, environmental sciences, public policy, or a related field; advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.Self-motivated, able to work independently, and comfortable collaborating virtually with regional and international teams.
