Cofidential · Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Apply & track with Apply EdgeOur client is a long-established, family-owned fragrance house creating Arabic and French perfumes, oud and bakhoor, with its own perfumery, laboratory and production and a retail shop across the GCC. Saudi Arabia is its largest market and the center of its growth plans. The roleYou will own the commercial performance of every shop and kiosk in the Kingdom. That means delivering the sales and profit targets, keeping cash and stock under tight control, growing a network of experienced regional and area managers, and making sure every new location we sign is one that will succeed. You will be the company's senior leader in the country, working with mall operators, authorities and the group head office, and you will spend at least half your time in the shops and with your managers rather than behind a desk. What you will do
- Deliver monthly and annual sales, margin and P&L targets for the KSA network, shop by shop and region by region.
- Lead, coach and hold accountable the Area Sales Managers; set their visit plans and review their visit reports, cash and tender verifications and Top 20 stock checks every month.
- Own cash and tender control across the Kingdom: daily bank deposits, card and BNPL (Tabby, Tamara) settlement reconciliation, and immediate escalation and investigation of any exception.
- Own stock in the country: keep every shop stocked on its top-selling lines, move stock between regions before it is lost to a stock-out, manage slow stock and tester/damage returns, and work with head-office production and logistics on forecasts.
- Build and manage the new-shop pipeline: assess malls and street locations on footfall, comparable-shop performance and payback; negotiate with mall management; present a quantified business case for every proposal; and run the post-opening review.
- Recruit, develop and promote: fill leadership roles from within wherever possible, certify every ASM before they take a territory, and keep the sales staff trained on product and service standards through the company's training platform.
- Ensure compliance in every shop: labour and Saudization requirements with HR, ZATCA/VAT invoicing, commercial and municipal licensing, mall regulations and prayer-time operating rules.
- Grow customer loyalty through the company's loyalty programme and customer feedback, and report monthly to the Director – Sales on performance, exceptions and actions. What you bring
- Eight or more years in retail sales, including at least three years leading a multi-store, multi-region network in Saudi Arabia.
- Background in fragrance, beauty, luxury or specialty retail strongly preferred; understanding of Arabic fragrance culture is a real advantage.
- A record of delivering targets and managing a retail P&L, with hands-on command of cash controls, stock management and POS data.
- Experience opening shops in Saudi malls and dealing with mall management, landlords and authorities.
- A leader who has grown store managers into area managers and is comfortable working the shop floor to see what is really happening.
- Fluent Arabic and English, written and spoken. Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
- Valid Saudi driving licence and willingness to travel across the Kingdom every month. What we offerA senior country leadership role in a family-owned house with a long heritage and a clear growth plan. Competitive salary and performance incentive linked to country results, with benefits in line with company policy; full package details are shared with shortlisted candidates.
