The role involves marking and grading assignments, exams, and other assessments for management-related courses in accordance with established rubrics and academic standards. The Course Marker provides clear, constructive feedback to students to support their learning and skill development, and ensures that marks are recorded accurately and on time. The role includes collaborating with academic staff to maintain consistency in grading, participating in moderation and quality assurance processes, and adhering to university policies on academic integrity and confidentiality. QualificationsRelevant academic background in Management, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline (Master’s degree required).Demonstrated experience in academic grading, tutoring, or teaching support in higher education, preferably in management or business courses.Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to apply marking rubrics consistently and fairly across diverse student work.Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to provide concise, constructive, and respectful feedback to students.High attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage marking workloads and meet deadlines.Familiarity with learning management systems and digital tools for assessment, grading, and record-keeping.Commitment to academic integrity, confidentiality, and inclusive, non-discriminatory educational practices.Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and staff, and to contribute positively to a multicultural university environment.
