Full-Time Therapist (Court-Ordered Services)We are a therapy practice committed to providing effective, ethical, and compassionate services for individuals and families navigating court-ordered treatment. Our team works closely with courts, attorneys, Guardians ad Litems (GALs), and community partners to ensure clients receive the highest quality of care while meeting court requirements.Position OverviewWe are seeking a Full-Time Therapist with specialized experience in court-ordered therapy, including reunification therapy, parenting coaching, family therapy, and anger management. This role requires both strong clinical expertise and the ability to collaborate with legal professionals, manage court documentation, and provide clear, professional communication with all parties involved.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide direct therapeutic services including reunification therapy, parenting coaching and skills training, family therapy, anger management counseling, and individual therapy.Develop treatment plans that align with court orders and therapeutic best practices.Write comprehensive progress reports, treatment summaries, and recommendations for submission to courts, attorneys, and GALs.Maintain professional communication with attorneys, GALs, and court officials while upholding client confidentiality and ethical boundaries.Testify in court when required, providing clear and objective clinical information.Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with court requirements, HIPAA, and professional licensing standards.Qualifications (Required)Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, Social Work, Clinical Psychology, or a related mental health field.Active, unrestricted clinical license (e.g., LPC, LCPC, LMFT, LCSW, PsyD, PhD) in Illinois.Experience providing therapy within the context of court-ordered services.Strong knowledge of family systems, trauma-informed care, and evidence-based practices.Experience working directly with attorneys, GALs, courts, and providers for coordination of care.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, particularly in preparing reports and providing court testimony.Ability to maintain professionalism in high-conflict family dynamics.PreferredAdvanced training or certification in reunification therapy, parenting coordination, or forensic mental health.Prior experience testifying in family or criminal court.Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and telehealth platforms.Position DetailsEmployment type: Full-time (on-site, remote, or hybrid depending on the case)Compensation: Competitive salary, commensurate with experience.Benefits: Health insurance, licensure supervision, flexible schedule.Please submit your resume and cover letter outlining your relevant court and professional experience to info@grassroots-therapy.com, with the subject line Therapist-Court Ordered Services.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:Dental insuranceHealth insuranceVision insuranceWork Location: In person
