This role combines hands-on design with team leadership, working across campaigns, product launches, events, and brand initiatives to ensure the creative vision is realized at every touchpoint.Job SummaryPLUGPLAY is looking for a Creative Manager to lead our in-house design team and serve as the creative engine of the marketing department. This role is the bridge between executive vision and the creative team that brings it to life - directing and designing across campaigns, products, projects, and events, while working hand-in-hand with the Brand Manager and marketing channel leads to ensure everything we put out is cohesive, on-brand, and built to perform.General AccountabilitiesCreative Direction: Serve as the creative lead across all brand output - campaigns, product launches, projects, and events; translate executive and leadership vision into clear, executable creative directionHands-On Design: Actively design alongside the team - this is not a director-only role; the Creative Manager is expected to contribute as a designer across active projects and deliverablesBrand & Marketing Collaboration: Work closely with the Brand Manager and channel leads across social, partnerships, events, and field marketing to align creative with each team's needs and objectivesBrand Consistency: Ensure all creative output is consistent across every marketing channel - digital, social, OOH, print, packaging, and experiential - while supporting channel-specific needs without sacrificing cohesionCampaign Creative: Lead creative concepting and execution for marketing campaigns from brief to final delivery; drive creative for product drops, seasonal moments, partnerships, and brand collaborationsEvents & Activations: Oversee creative for events and activations, from pre-event materials to on-site experience and recap assetsTeam Management: Lead, manage, and mentor the in-house design team day-to-day; set quality standards and provide consistent creative feedback and directionVendor & Freelance Management: Manage external vendors, freelancers, and agency partners as needed to support production capacity and qualityAsset Production & Operations: Oversee asset production across all channels and formats; maintain organized asset libraries and ensure timely delivery across concurrent projects within all owned media Compliance-Aware Creative: Build creative with an understanding of regulated industry requirements; adapt campaigns and messaging to meet market-specific compliance standards without sacrificing brand integrityThe company reserves the right to add or change duties at any timeQualifications4+ years of creative experience, with 2+ years in a creative management or lead roleStrong portfolio demonstrating brand-led campaign work across digital, social, and physical channelsAbility to both lead creative direction AND produce design work independentlyProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere) and AI design toolsExperience managing designers and creatives with confidence, empathy, and clarityProven ability to manage simultaneous campaigns and projects across multiple workstreamsExceptional project management skills; comfortable owning timelines, budgets, and stakeholder updatesExperience in cannabis, lifestyle, streetwear, wellness, or CPG brands preferredUnderstanding of compliance-driven marketing environments preferredMotion graphics and/or 3D design capabilities a plus (After Effects, Cinema 4D, Blender, or equivalent)Perks & Benefits
