Our client, a well-established and growing law firm in Metro Detroit, is seeking a strategic and Creative Marketing & Business Development Manager to lead initiatives that enhance the firm's brand, support practice growth, strengthen client relationships, and elevate attorney visibility in the marketplace. This individual will work closely with firm leadership and attorneys to develop and execute integrated marketing, communications, and business development strategies that drive awareness and business growth.Key Responsibilities:Strengthen and maintain a consistent law firm brand across all marketing and communication channels.Develop compelling content that highlights the firm's capabilities, industry experience, thought leadership, and client value.Ensure all marketing materials, attorney biographies, practice descriptions, and digital assets align with firm branding and messaging standards.Lead the firm's social media strategy, attorney thought leadership initiatives, and content calendar.Manage website content, attorney profile updates, email marketing campaigns, and digital communications.Monitor engagement metrics and analyze campaign effectiveness to drive continuous improvementPartner with attorneys and firm leadership to support business development initiatives and strategic growth objectives.Develop proposals, pitch materials, RFP responses, presentations, and client-facing collateral.Conduct market, industry, and competitive research to identify opportunities for client development and market expansion.Support cross-selling initiatives among practice groups and industry teams.Collaborate with firm leadership and HR to enhance recruiting and employer brand efforts.Develop recruitment marketing content and support initiatives aimed at attracting top legal and professional talent.Promote firm culture and employee engagement through internal and external communications.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field.5+ years of marketing and business development experience, preferably within a law firm, legal services, or professional services environment.Proven experience supporting attorneys, practice groups, or professional service leaders in business development efforts.Strong understanding of professional services marketing, client development, and relationship management.Exceptional writing, editing, and content development skills.Experience developing proposals, RFP responses, pitch materials, and client presentations.Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders.Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel; experience with CRM, email marketing, and marketing automation platforms preferred.Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with attorneys, firm leadership, and cross-functional teams.
