Combines hands-on production with first-line management, ensuring team members are supported from both a people-management and operational standpoint.ResponsibilitiesJob Responsibility #1 Team Leadership & OperationsManage assigned direct reports: workload direction, coaching, performance feedbackServe as primary people-manager for assigned staff, aligned with relevant regional/HR processesCoordinate with the Senior Creative Services Manager on capacity and coverage for assigned divisionsEscalate resourcing or performance concerns as neededJob Responsibility #2 Division & Brand SupportSupport proper creative coverage across assigned divisions, both through personal production and oversight of direct reports' workHelp monitor the effectiveness of creative support within assigned divisions — quality, coverage, workload — and flag concerns to the Senior Creative Services ManagerSupport addressing challenges and issues within assigned divisions as they arise, escalating anything beyond the team's capacity or authority to resolveParticipate in or help run retrospectives (or the functional equivalent) for the team's work, feeding improvement ideas up to the function-wide process the Senior Creative Services Manager ownsJob Responsibility #3 Creative ProductionProduce and oversee creative assets across print, digital, motion, environmental, and brand-identity work for assigned divisionsEstablish, apply, and maintain creative brand standards and templates across all brands — either directly or by overseeing their application by direct reports — ensuring consistency beyond just assigned divisions when standards are shared function-wideJob Responsibility #4 AI & Digital Capability BuildingParticipate in team-wide AI tool/workflow adoptionBuild personal and team proficiency in digital/AI-assisted toolsJob Responsibility #5 Cross-Functional PartnershipCreative point of contact for assigned divisions' stakeholdersQualificationsBachelor's degree in graphic design, web design, or a related field requiredWork Experience 4+ years in creative production/design, prior lead or informal-management experience preferredExperience and interest in AI-assisted creative tools to generate assets and also improve workflow.Located in the UK.Must be able to come into Knutsford officeExperience working on The Ophthalmologist publication.Required Travel0% - 10%Equal Opportunity StatementThe employer will make reasonable accommodations in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
