Job Title: Creative Strategist (Mid-weight)About the RoleEpic Dialogue is an award-winning marketing agency that helps organisations turn complex ideas into narratives that build trust.

We work with financial services brands, government organisations and technology platforms across content strategy, creative strategy, social media and KOL marketing.We are looking for a Creative Strategist who can turn complex business and communication problems into clear strategies, sharp creative briefs and compelling ideas. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, creative quality, and business growth.You will bring together audience understanding, brand thinking, cultural awareness and knowledge of social and digital platforms to help clients answer three questions:Define the mission: What do we need to achieve, and what should we say?Win hearts and minds: How do we make people care?Own the terrain: Which channels, spaces and conversations should we establish a strong presence in?Working closely with the Managing Director, Account Management and Creative team, you will own strategic work across assigned accounts, with guidance on complex briefs and major pitches. You should be ready to develop recommendations, brief the team and lead client discussions with increasing independence.What You Will OwnStrategic planning across assigned accounts, from understanding the problem through to creative executionCreative briefs, campaign strategies, messaging and content frameworksStrategic direction on monthly content plans, working with the account and creative teams to develop and review calendarsAudience research, competitor analysis and cultural insights that inform the workProactive recommendations that help clients improve their marketing and communicationsReview of creative work against the agreed strategy and briefStrategic contributions to pitches, proposals and opportunities within existing accountsKey Responsibilities 1. Turn insights into strategy and ideasResearch audiences, categories and culture to uncover actionable insightsDevelop positioning, messaging, campaign ideas and content strategiesWrite sharp briefs that give creatives direction and room to exploreSupport recommendations with clear reasoning and guide execution against business objectivesWrite and refine copy across campaign concepts, social content, video scripts and digital touchpoints, translating strategy into clear, compelling messagingReview campaign and content performance, identify learnings and recommend improvements2. Translate Culture and Digital Trends into OpportunitiesTrack cultural shifts, audience behaviours and platform developmentsTurn relevant trends into ideas that fit each client’s brand and objectivesConnect content, creators and digital touchpoints into effective audience journeysApply emerging technology and AI tools where they improve the work3. Review Creative Work and Raise StandardsReview ideas, captions, visuals, scripts and campaign assets across assigned accounts before MD or client reviewAssess hooks, messaging and execution against the approved strategy and brief, providing actionable feedbackWork with the account and creative teams to ensure assets meet brand guidelines, platform specifications and client requirementsStrengthen the creative team’s work and strategic thinking through regular feedback4. Lead Client Strategy and GrowthPresent and defend strategic recommendations with clear rationaleBuild trusted client relationships and proactively bring ideas beyond the briefIdentify opportunities for new projects and scope expansion with the account team and MDContribute strategic thinking to pitches and proposalsCollaborate with creatives from briefing through delivery5. Build Epic Dialogue’s Inbound PipelineLead the agency’s LinkedIn and Instagram content strategy, delivering at least three LinkedIn posts weekly with creative and publishing supportDevelop a lead-generation plan within the first 90 days, defining target audiences, channels, content priorities and success measuresTurn client wins into case studies that demonstrate measurable resultsTrack content performance and qualified enquiries, recommending improvements with the account team and MDWhat Success Looks LikeIn Your First Three MonthsYou understand your assigned clients, their audiences and their business prioritiesYou develop clear briefs and recommendations with direction from the Managing DirectorYou build productive relationships with the account and creative teamsYou are familiar with the agency’ ways of working and can begin presenting your thinking in client discussions and successful takeover of various content calendarsYou lead routine strategic work across assigned accounts with periodic input from the Managing DirectorWithin Your First YearYour briefs give the creative team clear direction and lead to stronger workClients increasingly turn to you for strategic adviceEach assigned account receives at least one substantive proactive recommendation per quarterYour recommendations help create new opportunities within existing accountsYou contribute one piece of publishable thinking per quarterWe assess the quality of your thinking, the work it enables, client confidence and your contribution to account growth. Detailed KPIs and first-year milestones will be agreed during onboarding.Who we are looking for:You have three to five years of experience in creative, brand or content strategy, ideally in an agency. You look beyond the brief to understand the underlying problem, turning insights into clear strategies and compelling ideas that connect with audiences.You bring:Strategic thinking, creative instincts and strong copywriting skillsCultural awareness and fluency in social platforms and digital formatsClear communication and care with complex or regulated topicsA strong point of view and openness to feedback and collaborationOwnership, sound judgement and the ability to navigate ambiguityThoughtful use of AI, with attention to quality and accuracyRelevant qualifications are welcome.
