Credit & Growth Financing Manager

We are currently looking for a Credit & Growth Financing Manager to support a key initiative within the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) on a 12-month freelance contract.DCT Abu Dhabi is the government entity responsible for driving the sustainable growth of Abu Dhabi’s culture and tourism sectors, playing a central role in positioning the emirate as a global hub for culture, creativity, and tourism.This role sits within a high-impact program focused on supporting the growth of Abu Dhabi’s gaming ecosystem by developing innovative, non-dilutive financing solutions. The successful candidate will help design financing products that enable growth-stage gaming studios to scale without giving up ownership, source and work with financing partners to bring these instruments to market.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancing Strategy & Product DesignHelp design a non-dilutive financing offering that enables growth-stage gaming studios to scale without giving up ownershipShape the product suite, including project and production loans, user-acquisition loans, revenue or incentive advances, guarantees, and co-investment match fundsDefine eligibility criteria, pricing mechanisms, and the balance between concessional support and capital preservationPrioritize product launches and develop phased implementation approachesBenchmark financing terms against market alternatives to ensure competitiveness while avoiding crowding out private lendersPartner Sourcing & StructuringIdentify and help establish the partnerships required to deliver financing productsAssess deployment models, including development-focused lenders, specialist financiers, and hybrid or first-loss arrangementsEngage banks, development lenders, and specialist financing institutions to design and deliver financing solutionsHelp define partner mandates, underwriting standards, and portfolio management arrangementsTerm Sheets & ImplementationSupport the development and negotiation of financing terms, pricing, and eligibility criteria with financing partnersBuild appropriate risk controls and recoupment structures into financing instrumentsSupport the implementation of financing products and monitor uptake and outcomesCoordinate with the wider enterprise support ecosystem on founder eligibility and routes to financingRequirements7–9 years of experience in credit, lending, structured finance, private credit, fintech lending, banking, or financial consultingExperience in financing product design, credit analysis, or structured lending environmentsExperience engaging with financing partners, banks, and development lendersDirect experience within a gaming financing company is preferredCore CapabilitiesStrong analytical and structuring skills, including instrument design, concession economics, and default and return modellingExperience in underwriting, facility monitoring, and credit assessmentStrong understanding of debt instruments and financing structures, including project finance, receivables financing, guarantees, and user-acquisition loansAbility to engage confidently with financing partners, banks, and development lendersExcellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skillsAbility to operate in fast-paced and evolving environmentsExperience & ExposureExperience with user-acquisition or revenue-based lending, including studio cash flow underwriting, ROAS analysis, payback analysis, and facility monitoringGaming financing experience, including user-acquisition loans, royalty advances, or receivables financing, is preferred; exposure to media or creative industries lending is also relevantBackground spanning banks, credit funds, fintech lenders, or specialty finance providers is an advantageCFA or equivalent credit training is a plusFamiliarity with concessional or government-backed financing models for creative or strategic industriesStrong working knowledge of AI tools and their application to strategy and credit analysisContract Duration12-month contractLocationAbu Dhabi, United Arab EmiratesInterested candidates are welcome to apply or share their CV for consideration.
