Requirements

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Analyze borrower financial statements, tax returns, and financial dataPrepare monthly reports for Senior Management and the Board of DirectorsConduct credit reviews and assist in underwriting new loan requestsMaintain credit tracking databases and loan portfolio reportingEvaluate loan quality and identify credit risks or inconsistenciesPrepare quarterly financial and compliance reportsCollaborate with Loan Officers and Credit Administration staffMaintain organized credit records and reporting systemsMINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or related field.REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:3+ years proven experience in banking or loan department -and- that experience must have included financial analysis, credit review, or related experience in the banking fieldStrong financial and analytical abilitiesIntermediate accounting knowledgeExcellent written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirementsAdvanced proficiency in Excel and other financial analysis toolsExperience using core banking systems (such as Fiserv preferred, or similar banking systems- required)Experience in research, interpretation of complex financial data, and reporting skillsStrong organizational skills and sound judgmentAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionSPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:At-will employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background investigation, which may include verification of employment, license documentation, criminal, and credit history, conducted in accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and the Maryland Job Applicant Fairness Act.
