They supply thousands of businesses across the east coast, from independents to multi-site operators and national accounts. They’re investing in how AR works and how it treats customers.This isn’t a set-and-forget role. The groundwork is done, the governance is in place, and the team is growing. What’s needed now is a leader who can lift the team, sharpen the processes and own the function from end to end.Why This Role?Real ownership of a function, with the backing of a global group when you need itA small, close-knit finance team where your ideas get heard and acted onA business that wants AR to protect customer relationships, not just collect cashThe chance to shape how a growing team works, from KPIs to cultureThe Role Reporting to the Financial Controller, you’ll lead a team across Melbourne, Sydney and Manila covering credit, billing, payment processing and new customer applications.Day to day, you’ll be:Coaching and developing your team so they own their work, solve problems and hold themselves accountableSetting clear expectations, KPIs and workflows, and making sure processes are documented and followedManaging the size and age of the debtors ledger through practical, customer-focused collectionsWorking with customers to resolve disputes, review terms and keep good customers tradingSpotting recurring issues and working with Sales, Customer Service and Finance to fix them at the sourceStrengthening credit policies and risk assessment, and backing your recommendations with dataProducing weekly AR and KPI reporting for senior stakeholdersStepping in to support the team during peak periodsWho We’re Looking For:You’re a people leader first, with solid credit and AR experience behind you. Specifically:Proven experience in credit management, collections or accounts receivable, with experience leading a teamA modern, relationship-led approach to collections. You’d rather pick up the phone and find a solution than send another reminder emailA track record of improving processes, with examples of what you changed and the results it deliveredComfort working in a corporate environment with clear governance and controlsExperience with a major ERP (Business Central, NetSuite, Dynamics, SAP or similar)Strong Excel skills; Power BI is a bonusA degree in finance, accounting or business is preferredFood or FMCG experience is a plus but not essential.
