Head of Credit Management & Financial RiskWhat We Are Looking ForWe are seeking an experienced Head of Credit Management & Financial Risk to join a leading organization in the UAE and provide strategic leadership across credit management, financial risk, receivables, and financial controls.The role will be responsible for strengthening the organization’s credit governance framework, managing financial exposure, improving collection performance, and providing senior management with clear visibility of emerging financial and credit risks.Key Responsibilities and Skills:• Lead the Credit Management and Financial Risk function, including policies, governance, controls, and performance monitoring.• Assess customer creditworthiness, credit limits, and financial exposure to support sound commercial decisions.• Oversee receivables and collection performance, including aging, overdue balances, DSO, and bad-debt exposure.• Identify, assess, and monitor key financial and credit risks across the organization.• Develop appropriate risk mitigation strategies and strengthen preventive financial controls.• Provide management with regular reporting on credit exposure, collection performance, financial risks, and key risk indicators.• Partner with Finance, Commercial, Legal, and other business functions to manage complex credit and financial risk matters.• Lead continuous improvement initiatives across credit management, risk monitoring, and related processes.Candidate Profile:• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.• Strong experience in Credit Management, Credit Risk, Financial Risk, Collections, or related finance functions.• Proven leadership experience managing teams and engaging with senior stakeholders.• Strong financial analysis, risk assessment, negotiation, and decision-making capabilities.• UAE/GCC experience would be an advantage.Why Join Us?Join a large and diversified organization that plays a vital role in supporting mobility, logistics, essential services, and business operations across the UAE.This is an opportunity to lead and strengthen our Credit Management & Financial Risk function, influence key financial and commercial decisions, and establish robust credit governance and risk management practices across the organization.You will play a key role in enhancing financial controls, optimizing credit and collection performance, managing financial exposure, and supporting sustainable business growth through stronger governance, informed decision-making, and continuous improvement.
