With a clear vision to boost economic growth, Raqamyah supports both entrepreneurs and investors in building a dynamic and sustainable financial ecosystem.Role DescriptionRaqamyah is seeking a qualified Credit & Risk Manager to lead the company’s credit risk and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) activities. The role is responsible for overseeing credit assessment and portfolio risk, maintaining the company’s risk management framework, and ensuring that key financial and non-financial risks are appropriately identified, assessed, monitored, and reported.The successful candidate will work closely with senior management and relevant departments to support sound credit decisions, strengthen the company’s risk culture, and ensure alignment with applicable Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) requirements and internal policies.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and oversee the company’s credit risk management and ERM activities.Review and assess credit applications, financial statements, cash flows, creditworthiness, repayment capacity, and other relevant credit information.Provide independent credit risk recommendations and ensure credit decisions are made within approved policies, authorities, and risk appetite.Monitor the credit portfolio, including concentrations, exposures, delinquencies, defaults, and emerging credit risks.Develop and maintain the company’s Credit Risk Policy, credit assessment methodologies, limits, and related procedures.Develop, implement, and maintain the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Framework in line with the company’s business model and regulatory requirements.Maintain the company’s Risk Register and coordinate periodic risk assessments across all departments.Identify and assess key risks, including credit, operational, liquidity, market, strategic, technology, cybersecurity, third-party, and reputational risks, as applicable.Develop and monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), risk limits, and early-warning indicators.Support the development and periodic review of the company’s Risk Appetite Framework and Risk Appetite Statement.Monitor risk exposures against approved risk appetite and limits and escalate material breaches or emerging risks to senior management.Conduct risk assessments for new products, services, processes, systems, and material changes before implementation.Perform scenario analysis and stress testing, where applicable, and assess their potential impact on the company and credit portfolio.Monitor and follow up on risk incidents, control weaknesses, and agreed remediation actions.Prepare periodic risk reports and dashboards for Senior Management, the Credit & Risk Committee, the Board, and regulatory authorities, as required.Support the company in responding to SAMA risk-related requirements, assessments, inspections, and regulatory observations.Work closely with Compliance, Finance, Operations, Technology, Cybersecurity, and other functions to ensure effective risk identification and mitigation.Promote risk awareness and a strong risk management culture across the organization.Perform any other credit and risk-related responsibilities assigned by management or required under applicable regulations.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in credit, risk management, banking, financing, fintech, or financial services.Strong experience in credit analysis and credit risk management.Practical knowledge of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) frameworks and methodologies.Good understanding of financial statements, cash-flow analysis, financial ratios, and credit assessment.Knowledge of SAMA regulations and the Saudi financial sector is highly preferred.Experience in fintech, lending, SME financing, or debt-based crowdfunding is an advantage.Professional certifications such as FRM, PRM, CRM, CFA, or other relevant risk/credit certifications are an advantage.Strong analytical, problem-solving, reporting, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and communicate risk matters effectively with senior management and committees.Excellent command of Arabic and English.Key CompetenciesCredit Analysis • Credit Risk Management • Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) • Risk Appetite • Risk Register • KRIs • Portfolio Monitoring • Stress Testing • Operational Risk • Risk Reporting • Financial Analysis • SAMA Regulatory Requirements
