Credit Collections Manager

Are you an experienced Credit & Collections professional looking for an opportunity to lead a high-performing team and drive improvements in cash flow, customer credit management, and working capital performance?Our client in Tampa, FL is seeking a direct hire, onsite Credit & Collections Manager to oversee all aspects of credit, collections, and accounts receivable operations. This leadership role is responsible for managing customer credit risk, reducing bad debt exposure, improving collections performance, and ensuring efficient AR processes.What You'll Be Doing:✅ Manage credit approvals, customer risk assessments, and payment terms✅ Lead collection strategies for past-due and high-risk accounts✅ Oversee cash applications, account reconciliations, and dispute resolution✅ Monitor aging reports, DSO, credit exposure, and bad debt risk✅ Partner with Sales and Operations to resolve customer payment issues✅ Lead month-end AR close and support audit and reporting activities✅ Coach, develop, and lead a Credit & Accounts Receivable team✅ Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and stronger internal controlsWhat We're Looking For:✔ 5+ years of Credit, Collections, and AR leadership experience and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field✔ Strong background in credit analysis and risk management✔ Experience improving collections performance and cash flow metrics✔ ERP system proficiency and advanced Excel skills✔ Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilitiesThis is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who enjoys developing teams, improving processes, and making a measurable impact on business performance.📩 Interested?
