Apply & track with Apply EdgeJob title: Credit Control AdministratorLocation/Hours/Duration: Chepstow – Hybrid (2-3 days in office) / 37.50 hours per weekReporting to: Finance ManagerResponsible for: Accounts ReceivableJob functionBased in Chepstow, hybrid-working as part of a TXO Group Finance Team, the Credit Controller is responsible for the delivery of all aspects of Credit Control within their assigned group of companies.Specific responsibilitiesCredit ControlPrimary responsibility for all aspects of credit control including Accounts Receivable for their assigned companies within the Group.Proactively manage the outstanding sales balances by contacting customers prior to becoming overdue to confirm payment dates, creating strong customer relationships and resolve potential issues to ensure a steady payment stream from customersLiaise with colleagues in the Sales department (and across the business where necessary) to ensure debts are managed and credit control policies and procedures are adhered to.Maintain accurate customer records, monitoring credit limits and payment terms assigned to customers.Perform credit checks for new and potential customers in a timely manner to manage our credit risk and support the sales process.Where required, initiate escalatory proceedings to ensure outstanding debts are settled in a timely manner.Preparation of periodic cash receipts forecasts.Provision of ad-hoc reporting and financial information as requested by management.Issue customer statements monthly.Email our customer invoices in a timely manner along with uploading invoices to customer portals.Review orders/shipments for onward processing.GeneralProvide cover for colleagues within the Finance Department during periods of absence and increased workloadAd HocTo carry out ad hoc activities as and when requested by the Group Finance Manager and Group Finance ControllerAbout youThrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment – you’re comfortable with change and take ownership of your role and responsibilities.Bring a challenger mindset – you’re always looking for workflow improvements.Motivated by our mission – you’re inspired by TXO’s vision to make technology more sustainable and excited to be part of a growing, forward-thinking business shaping the future of the industry.RewardsCompetitive basic salaryLife insuranceCompany pension25 days holiday (plus bank holidays)Employee assistance programmeCompany eventsCycle to work schemeOn-site free parkingHybrid working
