Credit Controller | Ipswich | £31,000 - £35,000 | Hybrid working (1 day in office per week)We’re working with a Facilities Management company based in Ipswich to support the recruitment of a Credit Controller. The successful candidate will join a small but high-performing finance team and will be responsible for managing the end-to-end sales ledger/ credit control function across the business.Key responsibilitiesManage the full credit control process across multiple entities, including collections and debt recoveryRaise sales invoices, set up customer accounts and conduct credit checks within agreed policiesMonitor credit limits and aged debtor reports, escalating overdue accounts and taking appropriate actionReconcile customer accounts, allocate payments and resolve billing and account discrepanciesUse advanced Excel skills to extract and analyse large datasets, maintain income reports and support month-end reportingSupport audits, process improvements and cross-functional teams while providing excellent customer service and resolving account queriesAbout youExperience working in a Credit Control role within a multi-site or multi-entity environmentProven sales ledger experienceStrong knowledge of credit control processes, aged debt management and financial reconciliationsExcellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skillsStrong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads across multiple ledgersWhat’s on offer Salary: £31,000 - £35,000Full-time, permanent contractLocation: IpswichHybrid working (1 day per week in the office, 4 days working from home)Competitive pension scheme with 16% employer’s contributionGenerous leave entitlement with 27 days + bank holidays, rising each year of serviceThis vacancy will be actively shortlisted so early applications are encouraged to avoid missing out.
