The company focuses on reliable, efficient logistics solutions that support complex and large-scale distribution needs.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Credit Controller role based in Mumbai. The Credit Controller will monitor customer accounts, manage credit limits, and ensure timely collection of outstanding payments. Daily responsibilities include reviewing aging reports, following up with customers and internal teams on overdue invoices, resolving billing and payment discrepancies, and maintaining accurate debtor records. The role will also involve assessing credit risk, supporting finance reporting, preparing collection plans, and collaborating with sales and operations to align credit decisions with business objectives. The Credit Controller is expected to uphold company policies, maintain compliance with relevant financial regulations, and provide clear, professional communication to internal and external stakeholders.Qualifications Strong Credit Control and Credit Management skills, with experience in setting credit limits and monitoring customer accounts.Practical expertise in Debt Collection and managing Debtors, including handling overdue accounts and negotiating payment arrangements.Solid understanding of Finance principles, including basic accounting, reconciliation, and cash flow management.Proficiency with ERP or accounting systems and MS Excel for reporting and analysis.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills with high attention to detail.Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and internal teams.Ability to work on-site in Mumbai, manage priorities under time constraints, and collaborate in a fast-paced logistics environment.Relevant degree or diploma in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; prior experience in logistics or transport sector is an advantage.
