Credit ManagementConduct credit investigations and evaluations of new and existing customers to determine credit worthinessSet and review credit limits based on financial analysis & payment historyMaintain & update customer credit filesCollaborate with sales to establish credit limitsInteract with 3rd party collection agenciesHandle bankruptcy claimsManage credit, adjustments and accounts receivable staffAccounts ReceivableOversee daily bank receipts including ACH, credit card payments and invoice issuanceGenerate & maintain A/R aging reports and payment collections on a regular basisIdentify overdue accounts and lead follow-up actions to ensure timely paymentCollaborate with sales team to resolve billing, deduction/disputes and/or reconciliation issuesSupport cash applications and monthly A/R closing activitiesReporting & CompliancePrepare monthly A/R & credit risk reports for management reviewEnsure all procedures comply with internal controls and external audit standardsUpdate and maintain certificate of insurance requirements on both new and existing customersCoordinate and maintain customer resale tax certificates
