Onsite in Arca South TaguigEarn up to 200k monthly (depending on your skills)ResponsibilitiesCredit Policy & Strategy ManagementDevelop, maintain, and periodically review the Company’s Credit Policy, underwriting standards, and credit risk guidelines to ensure they remain aligned with business objectives and risk appetite.Recommend enhancements to credit policies and underwriting standards based on portfolio performance, market and economic conditions, regulatory developments, and evolving business strategies.Ensure credit policies are aligned with the Company’s Risk Appetite Statement and overall Credit Risk Management Framework.Establish and manage appropriate governance for policy exceptions, including monitoring, escalation, and approval requirements.Support the design, development, and implementation of new lending products, credit programs, and underwriting strategies.Evaluate the effectiveness of underwriting rules, credit scorecards, decision strategies, and approval criteria.Assess the potential impact of proposed policy and strategy changes on approval rates, portfolio quality, credit losses, customer outcomes, and profitability.Support champion-challenger testing, strategy optimization, and continuous improvement of credit decisioning.Recommend enhancements to credit decision rules based on portfolio analytics, risk trends, and observed customer behavior.Provide credit risk advice and analytical support to Management on strategic initiatives, business decisions, and other risk-related matters as required.Portfolio Analytics & Risk MonitoringMonitor and assess portfolio performance across all lending products and customer segments, identifying trends, emerging risks, and areas requiring management attention.Conduct in-depth portfolio analyses, including vintage, cohort, roll-rate, flow-rate, delinquency, migration, and other relevant credit risk analyses.Identify emerging portfolio risks and recommend appropriate risk mitigation strategies and corrective actions.Analyze portfolio performance across key dimensions, including customer segment, product, acquisition channel, geography, score band, and other relevant risk characteristics.Develop and maintain portfolio risk dashboards, management reports, and performance monitoring tools that provide timely and actionable insights.Produce regular portfolio risk reporting for Senior Management, Risk Committees, and the Board, as required.Extract, transform, analyze, and validate portfolio data using SQL, Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and other business intelligence tools.Develop and automate recurring reports, dashboards, and portfolio monitoring processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness of risk reporting.Partner closely with Technology, Data, and other relevant teams to enhance data availability, quality, infrastructure, and reporting capabilities.Ensure the accuracy, completeness, consistency, and integrity of portfolio data and analytical outputs.Translate portfolio performance, customer behavior, macroeconomic developments, and other risk indicators into clear, actionable recommendations for Management.Risk Advisory & Strategic SupportProvide data-driven credit risk insights and recommendations to support sustainable portfolio growth while maintaining adherence to the Company’s risk appetite.Support strategic credit initiatives, business projects, and cross-functional working groups involving Credit Risk, Product, Operations, Technology, Data, Finance, and other business functions.Provide ad-hoc credit risk analysis, advisory support, and other duties or assignments as directed by Management.Promote a strong risk culture by ensuring credit decisions and policy recommendations are supported by sound analysis, appropriate governance, and robust risk management principles.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline from a reputable college or university.MBA, Master’s degree, or relevant professional certifications such as FRM, PRM, CRA, or CRM is preferred.At least 7 years of relevant experience in Consumer and/or SME Lending within a bank, fintech, or financial institution, with significant experience in Credit Policy, Portfolio Analytics, and Credit Risk Management.Experience in people management, team leadership, or project management is preferred.Experience in digital lending, automated credit decisioning, and/or scorecard-driven underwriting is an advantage.Strong understanding of the end-to-end credit lifecycle, from origination and underwriting through account management, collections, and recovery.Strong knowledge of applicable Basel III/IV and IFRS 9 requirements and their implications for credit risk management and portfolio performance.Demonstrated ability to translate complex portfolio data, credit risk trends, and economic developments into practical lending policies and strategies that balance growth, customer outcomes, and risk appetite.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify key risk drivers and develop actionable recommendations.Excellent professional writing skills, with demonstrated ability to develop formal governance documents, policies, procedures, standard operating procedures, and technical risk frameworks.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and collaborate across business and support functions.Ability to communicate complex credit risk concepts, analytical findings, and policy changes clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Strong judgment and ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, data-driven lending environment.Technical SkillsMandatoryAdvanced Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, financial modeling, and advanced formulas/functions.Intermediate SQL for data extraction, analysis, and portfolio monitoring.Strong knowledge of credit risk analysis and portfolio analytics.Proficiency in Power BI or an equivalent business intelligence and data visualization platform.Strong ability to interpret and utilize credit bureau data for underwriting, portfolio monitoring, and risk assessment.Experience developing portfolio reports, dashboards, and risk monitoring tools.PreferredBasic to intermediate Python or R.Experience with advanced data visualization and analytics techniques.Financial modeling and scenario analysis.Experience with credit scorecards, decision engines, or automated underwriting platforms.Experience with champion-challenger testing and credit strategy optimization.
