Credit Research Analyst

A leading global asset management firm is seeking a Credit Research Analyst to join their Global Credit platform. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting a global unconstrained credit strategy, conducting detailed analysis across the corporate credit spectrum and contributing directly to investment outcomes.Key Responsibilities:Conduct rigorous fundamental credit analysis on corporate issuers across a diverse range of sectorsGenerate and present high-conviction investment recommendations to Portfolio ManagersBuild and maintain financial models, prepare investment theses and draft credit notesInterpret sector and issuer-level insights to inform investment decisionsProvide portfolio managers with timely updates on market liquidity, industry developments and regulatory changes that may affect issuer credit quality and pricingTake an active role in the investment decision-making process and share your own perspectives in credit investment team meetingsCandidate Profile:Relevant experience in corporate credit research, gained at a respected buy-side or sell-side firmStrong understanding of different credit products and marketsExcellent academic credentialsTechnical skills such as coding (Python, VBA or similar) are beneficial, though not essentialExcellent analytical skills and the capacity to process and interpret complex information quicklyHigh levels of energy, enthusiasm and intellectual curiosity with a proactive approachClarity and conviction in expressing informed opinionsCollaborative, client-oriented mindsetAbility to establish and sustain strong professional relationshipsMason Blake acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
