Credit Risk Analyst

We are looking for a Credit Analyst to join our Client in their expanding and well-regarded Finance Team.What You’ll Be Doing:Assessing new and existing customer credit applications and reviewing financial information to determine creditworthinessConducting credit checks and analysing customer financial data, payment history and other relevant informationMaking informed recommendations on credit limits and terms in line with company policiesMonitoring existing customer accounts and identifying potential credit risks or changes in financial circumstancesProviding clear feedback and recommendations to internal stakeholders regarding credit decisionsProducing regular credit risk reports and analysis for managementMaintaining accurate records of credit assessments, decisions and supporting informationIdentifying trends and potential areas of risk within the customer portfolioSupporting the wider Finance Team with ad-hoc analysis and credit-related projectsEnsuring all credit decisions are made in accordance with internal procedures and relevant regulationsWhat We’re Looking For:Previous experience within a Credit Risk, Credit Analysis, Finance or similar analytical roleStrong analytical and numerical skills with excellent attention to detailExperience assessing financial information and making evidence-based decisionsGood working knowledge of Excel and the ability to analyse and present data effectivelyStrong communication skills with the ability to provide clear and concise feedbackExcellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple prioritiesA commercially aware approach with the confidence to challenge and make recommendationsIdeally, experience using credit reference agencies, credit scoring systems or financial risk assessment toolsBenefits on Offer:Competitive salaryExcellent benefits packageOpportunities for career development and progressionSupportive and collaborative working environmentFull training and ongoing professional development
