Team members join a mission-driven environment that blends innovation with real-world impact in the microfinance sector.Role Description The Credit Risk Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Riyadh, responsible for managing and overseeing the credit risk framework across Flooss’s lending products. This role includes assessing credit applications, setting and monitoring credit policies, and evaluating portfolio performance to maintain a balanced risk profile. The Credit Risk Manager will analyze financial and behavioral data, develop risk models, and recommend strategies to optimize approval rates while minimizing defaults. Daily activities involve close collaboration with product, operations, data, and compliance teams to align credit decisions with business objectives and regulatory requirements. The role also includes preparing risk reports, supporting internal and external audits, and continuously improving risk processes in line with Flooss’s commitment to transparency and smart technology.Qualifications Strong credit expertise, including Credit Management and Credit Risk Management skills to design, implement, and refine credit policies and decision frameworks.Advanced Analytical Skills and experience in Finance to interpret complex data, perform risk assessments, and support data-driven decision-making.Portfolio Management skills to monitor loan performance, identify trends, and adjust strategies to maintain a healthy and profitable credit portfolio.Background in banking, fintech, or microfinance, with familiarity in consumer lending or SME lending environments.Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Statistics, or a related field; professional certifications in risk or credit (e.g., FRM, CRM) are an advantage.Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools; experience with risk modeling or scoring systems is highly beneficial.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present complex findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.High ethical standards, sound judgment, and attention to detail, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
