Crestron Programmer

Job Title: Crestron Programmer (TS/SCI Cleared)Location: MacDill AFB, FLPosition Type: Full-Time, Direct HireSalary Range: $90-115,000 (negotiable based on experience)Summary:Verigent's client is seeking a Crestron Programmer to support audiovisual and collaboration systems at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, FL. The ideal candidate will have strong experience programming, configuring, testing, and troubleshooting Crestron-based AV and control systems in complex environments.Responsibilities:• Program, configure, test, and troubleshoot Crestron control systems.• Develop and modify Crestron SIMPL, SIMPL+, and/or related programming.• Integrate Crestron control systems with displays, projectors, video processors, audio systems, DSPs, conferencing platforms, and other AV equipment.• Troubleshoot control, signal-flow, communication, and integration issues.• Perform system commissioning, testing, and validation.• Support installation and deployment of new AV systems and upgrades.• Review system designs, schematics, and technical documentation.• Develop and maintain programming documentation, system configurations, and as-built documentation.• Coordinate with AV technicians and engineers during system installations and troubleshooting.• Provide technical support for operational AV environments.• Ensure systems meet customer requirements, performance standards, and security requirements.• Perform other related duties as assigned.Qualifications:• Experience programming and configuring Crestron AV control systems.• Strong understanding of AV signal flow and integrated audiovisual environments.• Experience with Crestron programming tools such as SIMPL/SIMPL+.• Ability to troubleshoot complex AV and control-system issues.• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and IP-based AV systems.• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.• Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain the required clearance.• CompTIA Security+ certification or willingness to obtain it.
