Crew Manager

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Crew Manager to oversee crew administration, HR processes, and payroll coordination for seafarers and offshore personnel.This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing maritime services business and play a key role in ensuring accurate crew management, compliance, and payroll operations.Key ResponsibilitiesCrew Administration & HRManage crew records, contracts, certifications, and employment documentation.Coordinate onboarding, offboarding, and crew scheduling activities.Monitor certification, training, medical, and visa expiry dates.Support recruitment activities and respond to employee HR and payroll queries.Ensure compliance with maritime regulations and maintain confidentiality.Payroll ProcessingProcess monthly crew payroll accurately and on time.Verify timesheets, leave, overtime, and payroll adjustments.Liaise with finance teams and payroll providers as required.Reconcile payroll data and resolve discrepancies.Prepare payroll reports and management summaries.Compliance & ReportingMaintain compliant, audit-ready personnel and payroll records.Produce regular HR and payroll reports.Support internal and external audits.Ensure adherence to employment regulations and industry standards.About YouSkills & ExperiencePrevious experience in crew management, HR administration, or payroll processing.Maritime, offshore, or shipping industry experience preferred.Strong understanding of payroll procedures and HR administration.Excellent organisational and time-management skills.High attention to detail and accuracy.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR/payroll systems.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Knowledge of Maritime Labour Convention (MLC) requirements is advantageous.Personal AttributesProfessional and discreet when handling sensitive information.Proactive and solution-focused.Team player with the ability to work independently.Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment.What's on OfferOpportunity to join a growing maritime services organisation.Supportive and collaborative working environment.Professional development and career progression opportunities.Competitive salary and benefits package.Interested?
