Critical Care Nurse Educator

We're #hiring a Critical Care Nurse Educator. This position provides an opportunity for an experienced critical care nurse to combine clinical expertise with a passion for teaching, professional development, and improving patient outcomes.The Critical Care Nurse Educator will support the development and competency of nursing staff through education, clinical instruction, mentoring, and evidence-based practice.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and provide educational programs for critical care nursing staff.Provide clinical instruction, orientation, mentoring, and ongoing professional development.Assess educational and competency needs within the critical care environment.Develop and evaluate competency-based education and clinical skills programs.Promote evidence-based nursing practice and patient safety.Collaborate with nursing leadership and interdisciplinary teams to improve clinical outcomes.Serve as a clinical resource and professional role model for critical care nurses.Support quality improvement initiatives and regulatory requirements.Evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and implement improvements as needed.Required QualificationsMaster's degree in Nursing (MSN) required.Minimum 5 years of critical care experience.Applicable teaching and clinical experience.Current New York State RN license required.American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS) certification required.Certification in a specialty area preferred.Strong clinical, communication, teaching, and leadership skills.
