Critical Facilities Manager

Role Description The Coordinator of Volunteers is a full-time, on-site role based in Port Louis. This role is responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and scheduling volunteers to support BlueConnect’s initiatives and events. Day-to-day tasks include organizing and delivering volunteer training, providing guidance and support, and maintaining accurate records of volunteer activities. The Coordinator will collaborate with internal teams to identify volunteer needs, manage communication with volunteers, and promote engagement and recognition programs. The role also involves coordinating community outreach activities and ensuring volunteers have a positive, safe, and inclusive experience.QualificationsStrong volunteer management skills, including experience in Volunteer Management and Volunteer Training.Excellent interpersonal skills and Communication abilities to build trust and maintain effective relationships with diverse volunteer groups.Experience in Community Outreach, with the ability to plan and support initiatives that engage local communities.Organizational and time-management skills to coordinate schedules, events, and administrative tasks efficiently.Ability to work on-site in Port Louis and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Prior experience in coordinating volunteers, community programs, or non-profit activities is an advantage.Basic proficiency with office software and volunteer management tools or databases.Relevant diploma or degree in social sciences, management, communications, or a related field is preferred.
