Role Description The Cross Border Tech Compliance Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Al Kharj. This role involves analyzing technology products and services for compliance with US and international regulations, including data protection, cybersecurity, and cross-border transfer requirements. The advisor will review policies, contracts, and operational workflows, identify compliance gaps, and propose corrective actions that support both legal obligations and business goals. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring regulatory developments, preparing clear guidance and reports for internal stakeholders and clients, and collaborating with legal, IT, and product teams to embed compliance into project lifecycles. The role also requires participating in audits or assessments, delivering training on compliance topics, and supporting the development of internal frameworks and best practices.QualificationsExperience in technology compliance, regulatory advisory, or related fields, with familiarity in US and cross-border regulations.Strong analytical and research abilities to interpret laws, standards, and guidelines and translate them into practical requirements.Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare reports, briefings, and guidance for diverse audiences.Proven ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (e.g., legal, IT, product, operations) and manage multiple projects concurrently.Bachelor’s degree in Law, Information Systems, Compliance, Business, or a related discipline; relevant certifications (e.g., compliance, data protection, cybersecurity) are an advantage.Demonstrated attention to detail, sound judgment, and commitment to ethical and responsible technology practices.Prior experience working in cross-border or multinational environments and proficiency in English; additional language skills are beneficial.
