The group aims to be among the finest providers of technical education in India, offering learners a dynamic and progressive academic environment.Role Description The CSE Faculty role is a full-time, on-site position based at Sagar Group of Institutions - SISTec in Bhopal. The faculty member will plan and deliver undergraduate and/or postgraduate Computer Science and Engineering courses, including lectures, tutorials, and lab sessions aligned with the institution’s curriculum and industry-oriented pedagogy. Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, developing teaching materials, assessing student performance through assignments and examinations, and providing academic guidance and mentoring. The role also involves contributing to curriculum development, engaging in academic and applied research, participating in departmental and institutional committees, and supporting co-curricular and industry-connect activities. Faculty members are expected to maintain high standards of teaching quality, stay current with emerging technologies, and foster an inclusive, student-centered learning environment.Qualifications Strong foundation in core Computer Science and Engineering subjects such as data structures, algorithms, operating systems, computer networks, databases, and software engineering.Proficiency in programming languages and tools commonly used in academia and industry (for example, C/C++, Java, Python, web technologies, and development environments).Ability to design and deliver effective lectures, labs, and assessments, using modern teaching methodologies and educational technologies.Skills in guiding student projects, internships, and industry-oriented assignments, with exposure to current and emerging technologies.Commitment to academic excellence, student mentoring, and maintaining an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with colleagues and participate in institutional activities.Master’s degree (M.E./M.Tech) in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Information Technology or a closely related discipline; Ph.D. or active pursuit of doctoral studies is highly desirable.Prior teaching or academic experience in an engineering institution, and contributions to research, publications, or industry collaborations are an added advantage.
