Employment Type:Full timeShift:Day ShiftDescription:Position Summary: CT Imaging Assistant in the Radiology Department at St Mary’s Hospital in Athens, GAFulltime Monday-Thursday 1pm to 11pmWhat you will do:Under the direction of the technical supervisor/team leader, the imaging assistant is responsible for direct patient care activities and clerical duties as assigned by CTThese functions includedirecting patient flow through the department,greeting and escorting/transporting patients within the imaging department and back to the patient room or Emergency Department.Must be able to anticipate, initiate, and respond to the departmental and customer needs, work independently and maintain productivity and workflow.Other duties include, but are not limited to, stocking the exam rooms and supply rooms,preparing the room for the next patients arrival.GAWhat you will need: Education:  High School Diploma or equivalent is required.Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current American Heart Association BLS certification is requiredExperience: No previous healthcare experience is required, but a knowledge of the healthcare setting, specifically imaging, is preferred.Special Qualifications: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills. ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­ Position Highlights and Benefits:Day 1 benefits, no waiting period!
