The CT Radiographer will perform high-quality CT examinations, ensuring accurate imaging for diagnosis and treatment planning while maintaining patient comfort and safety. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing patients for scans, positioning them correctly, operating CT scanners, and adhering to protocols for image acquisition and quality control. The role involves monitoring radiation doses, applying appropriate safety measures, maintaining detailed and accurate documentation, and collaborating with radiologists, referring clinicians, and other healthcare professionals. The CT Radiographer will also assist in equipment checks, participate in continuous quality improvement, and contribute to a respectful, patient-centered care environment. This is a role for a competent practitioner with 3-4 years clinical experience and a desire to join a Group with a clear ambition for the success of all staff members within the group.QualificationsDemonstrated proficiency in radiologic technology and CT imaging, with the ability to operate CT equipment and follow imaging protocols effectively.Solid understanding of radiology and medical imaging principles to support accurate diagnostic outcomes and effective communication with clinical teams.Strong commitment to radiation safety and appropriate use of radiation, including monitoring exposure and applying dose-optimization techniques.Relevant qualifications in medical imaging or radiography, with current registration or eligibility for registration with the appropriate professional body.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to support patients of diverse backgrounds and work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage workloads in a clinical environment while maintaining high standards of care.Previous CT experience in a hospital or diagnostic imaging setting is highly regarded; experience with digital PACS/RIS systems is an advantage.Commitment to ongoing professional development, adherence to ethical standards, and contribution to an inclusive and safe workplace.
