Technology Strategy & LeadershipDefine and execute the company's technology vision, architecture, and long-term product development roadmap.Align technology initiatives with business objectives, customer requirements, and growth strategies.Make strategic decisions regarding technology stacks, infrastructure, scalability, and product innovation.Work closely with the founder and leadership team to establish technology priorities and business milestones.2. Product Development & EngineeringTake complete ownership of the CareDesk360 platform, including its architecture, development, deployment, and maintenance.Lead the development of scalable Clinic Management Software, Hospital Management Software, and associated healthcare technology solutions.Oversee frontend, backend, database, API, and third-party integration development.Establish robust software development practices, code quality standards, testing frameworks, and deployment processes.Ensure the platform delivers an intuitive, reliable, and seamless experience for healthcare professionals.3. Team Building & ManagementBuild, mentor, and lead a high-performing technology team.Recruit and manage software developers, engineers, QA professionals, and other technical resources as the company grows.Establish development workflows, sprint planning, performance metrics, and accountability frameworks.Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, continuous learning, and technical excellence.4. Infrastructure, Security & ScalabilityDesign and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure.Ensure high availability, performance optimization, data backup, and disaster recovery.Implement appropriate cybersecurity measures, access controls, and patient data protection practices.Ensure the platform complies with applicable healthcare data privacy and security requirements.Build technology infrastructure capable of supporting thousands of healthcare providers and expanding product offerings.5. Innovation & Product ExpansionIdentify opportunities to integrate AI, automation, analytics, and other emerging technologies into the CareDesk360 ecosystem.Drive the development of new product features based on market trends, customer feedback, and business requirements.Evaluate and implement integrations with payment gateways, communication platforms, diagnostic laboratories, and other healthcare services.Support the company's long-term vision of developing an interconnected digital healthcare ecosystem.6. Business & Strategic CollaborationCollaborate directly with the founder on product strategy, technology investments, and business expansion.Translate business requirements into actionable technical solutions.Participate in strategic discussions with investors, partners, and enterprise customers when required.Develop technology budgets, optimize infrastructure costs, and ensure efficient utilization of engineering resources.Take ownership of technology-related challenges and contribute to the company's overall growth.Required Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.5+ years of experience in software development, with demonstrated experience leading engineering teams or technology projects.Strong experience in building, deploying, and scaling SaaS applications.Proficiency in modern frontend and backend technologies, preferably React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, Python, or similar technologies.Strong understanding of database architecture, REST APIs, cloud infrastructure, and system design.Experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or equivalent cloud platforms.Knowledge of software security, data privacy, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.Strong leadership, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.Experience managing complete software development lifecycles, from product planning to production deployment.Preferred QualificationsPrevious experience as a CTO, VP of Engineering, Technical Co-founder, or Engineering Lead.Experience building healthcare software, SaaS platforms, or enterprise applications.Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR), Electronic Health Records (EHR), Hospital Information Systems (HIS), or healthcare interoperability standards.Experience working in an early-stage startup or building a technology product from the ground up.Understanding of AI/ML applications, healthcare automation, and data analytics.Experience scaling a technology platform from early product adoption to a large customer base.What We Are Looking ForWe are looking for more than a technology manager.We need a hands-on technology leader with an entrepreneurial mindset who is passionate about building products, solving real-world problems, and creating long-term business value.The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a startup environment, making independent technical decisions, and taking complete ownership of the technology function.You should be someone who:Thinks like a founder and takes ownership of outcomes.Can contribute directly to product architecture and development while building a strong engineering team.Is comfortable working with limited resources and prioritizing high-impact initiatives.Understands the balance between rapid product development, scalability, and long-term technical sustainability.Is motivated by long-term ownership and company growth rather than immediate financial compensation alone.Equity-Based Compensation & Growth OpportunityThis is an equity-based leadership opportunity designed for a technology professional who wants to become a long-term stakeholder in CareDesk360.
