Join Irthi Museum as a Curator and play a key role in developing engaging exhibitions, conducting research, and enhancing visitor experiences through meaningful storytelling and cultural interpretation.About the PositionThe Curator will support the development, management, and interpretation of the museum's collections and exhibitions. The role involves conducting research, documenting cultural assets, coordinating exhibitions, and contributing to programs that celebrate and preserve heritage while engaging diverse audiences.Key Roles & ResponsibilitiesConduct research on museum collections, cultural heritage, and historical subjects to support exhibitions and publications.Assist in planning, developing, and delivering exhibitions and related cultural programs.Document, catalog, and maintain collection records in accordance with museum standards.Prepare exhibition texts, educational materials, reports, and curatorial content in both Arabic and English.Support the acquisition, preservation, and interpretation of museum artifacts and collections.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, researchers, artists, and cultural institutions.Assist in organizing workshops, lectures, and public engagement initiatives.Contribute to visitor experience enhancement through compelling narratives and interpretation strategies.Support loan processes, collection movements, and exhibition logistics when required.Ensure curatorial activities align with museum policies, standards, and strategic objectives.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Art History, Museum Studies, Curatorial Studies, Fine Arts, Cultural Studies, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in curatorial work, museums, galleries, cultural institutions, or a related field.UAE National.Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English.Experience in conducting research, documenting collections, and supporting exhibitions and cultural programs.Excellent writing, editing, presentation, and storytelling skills.Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic cultural environment.What We're Looking ForWe are seeking a passionate cultural professional with a strong appreciation for heritage, excellent research capabilities, and the ability to transform historical and cultural content into engaging experiences for diverse audiences.
