About the RoleThinkory Intelligence is seeking an outstanding Curriculum Lead – American Curriculum to join our growing education intelligence team.We are looking for an experienced UAE education professional with strong expertise in American curriculum design, standards alignment, assessment and school improvement. This is a senior specialist role requiring the ability to work independently and contribute to high-quality curriculum solutions for schools.Key Responsibilities• Lead the development and quality assurance of American curriculum frameworks. • Develop and review Curriculum Maps, Scope & Sequence and Schemes of Work. • Ensure strong vertical and horizontal curriculum alignment across grades and subjects. • Map curriculum against relevant American standards, including CCSS, NGSS, AERO and applicable state standards. • Ensure alignment with UAE educational and inspection requirements. • Review alignment between standards, learning objectives, teaching, assessment and student outcomes. • Identify curriculum gaps, unnecessary repetition and progression issues. • Support curriculum adaptation for SEND, EAL, Gifted & Talented and different attainment groups. • Connect curriculum planning with internal and external assessment evidence. • Support the development of curriculum intelligence features within Thinkory. • Develop high-quality curriculum templates, review tools, rubrics and guidance. • Conduct curriculum reviews and provide clear improvement recommendations. • Support schools with self-evaluation, inspection and accreditation readiness. • Deliver professional guidance and training to teachers, middle leaders and senior leaders. • Keep curriculum frameworks current with developments in American education and UAE requirements.Essential Requirements• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant subject. • Minimum 7 years of educational experience. • Significant experience within American curriculum schools. • Minimum 3 years in curriculum or academic leadership. • Strong professional experience within the UAE education sector. • Currently based in the UAE. • Excellent knowledge of American curriculum standards, particularly CCSS and NGSS. • Strong curriculum mapping, assessment and data-analysis expertise. • Excellent written and spoken English. • Strong analytical, organisational and report-writing skills. • Ability to work independently in a senior remote role.DesirableExperience with AERO, UAE School Inspection Framework, KHDA/ADEK requirements, Cognia or other accreditation frameworks, school self-evaluation, external assessments and inspection preparation.Position DetailsEmployment Type: Part-Time Working Model: Remote Location: UAE-based candidates only Salary: Up to AED 25,000 per month, depending on experience, expertise and agreed scope.Thinkory Intelligence School Intelligence, engineered for better decisions.
