Apply & track with Apply EdgePosition OverviewWe are seeking a responsible, customer-oriented, and detail-focused Curtain Shop Manager / Curtain Installation Assistant to oversee daily curtain shop operations and assist with curtain measurement, preparation, delivery, and installation. The ideal candidate will have good knowledge of curtains and window furnishing products, strong customer service skills, practical hands-on ability, and the ability to maintain high standards of product quality, installation accuracy, and customer satisfaction.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily curtain shop and showroom operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.Supervise shop staff and coordinate daily customer enquiries, sales activities, orders, deliveries, and installation schedules.Welcome customers and provide professional advice on curtain styles, fabrics, colors, designs, tracks, rods, blinds, and other window furnishing products.Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable curtain products based on room design, window size, usage, budget, and preferences.Prepare quotations, sales orders, measurement records, installation schedules, and customer documentation.Conduct site visits to measure windows and confirm installation requirements when required.Accurately measure window dimensions, ceiling height, wall conditions, curtain drop, track or rod positions, and installation locations.Assist with curtain preparation, checking, packing, loading, transportation, and delivery to customer locations.Assist with the installation of curtain tracks, rods, brackets, blinds, rails, hooks, accessories, and other window furnishing products.Use appropriate hand tools, drilling equipment, ladders, measuring tools, and installation equipment safely and correctly.Ensure curtains and related products are installed accurately, securely, neatly, and according to customer specifications.Inspect completed installations for correct measurements, alignment, movement, appearance, finishing, and overall quality.Identify and report measurement errors, damaged products, installation issues, wall or ceiling conditions, and other site concerns.Perform basic adjustments, repairs, and maintenance of curtain tracks, rods, brackets, blinds, and related fittings when required.Ensure the correct curtain fabric, size, style, quantity, track, rod, and accessories are prepared for each customer order.Maintain accurate customer records, sales records, measurement sheets, order details, installation reports, and inventory records.Coordinate with customers, suppliers, curtain makers, installers, designers, warehouse staff, and delivery teams when required.Handle customer enquiries, complaints, installation issues, and after-sales service professionally.Maintain a clean, organized, and attractive showroom and ensure curtain samples and product displays are properly arranged.Ensure tools, curtain products, samples, vehicles, and installation equipment are handled and stored safely.Train and guide shop and installation staff on product knowledge, customer service, measurement procedures, installation methods, and workplace safety.Monitor sales performance, installation schedules, customer satisfaction, product quality, and order completion deadlines.Identify opportunities to improve showroom presentation, sales performance, installation efficiency, customer service, and overall business operations.Requirements & QualificationsPrevious experience as a Curtain Shop Manager, Curtain Sales Consultant, Curtain Installer, Curtain Installation Assistant, Window Furnishing Installer, Blind Installer, or similar role.Experience in curtains, blinds, window furnishings, interior decoration, home improvement, renovation, or related industries would be an advantage.Good knowledge of curtain fabrics, curtain styles, tracks, rods, blinds, brackets, hooks, and window furnishing accessories.Hands-on experience with curtain measurement, installation, drilling, fitting, adjustment, and basic repair work.Ability to accurately measure windows and understand basic dimensions, layouts, and installation requirements.Experience using drills, screwdrivers, measuring tapes, levels, ladders, and other basic installation tools.Strong attention to detail and accuracy when measuring, preparing, and installing curtains and related products.Good customer service, communication, sales, organizational, and teamwork skills.Ability to supervise and coordinate shop staff and installation activities effectively.Good practical and problem-solving skills, especially when dealing with different wall, ceiling, and window conditions.Physically fit and comfortable standing, climbing ladders, lifting, carrying, and installing curtain products safely.Reliable, responsible, hardworking, and able to work in a fast-paced showroom and installation environment.Good computer skills and ability to maintain customer, sales, order, and installation records.Relevant interior design, renovation, installation, or technical experience would be an advantage.Valid driving licence would be an advantage for customer site visits and installation work.Flexible to work weekends, public holidays, or extended hours when required.Fluent English required; additional languages would be an advantage.
