Custom Fabrication Craftsman — Carpentry, Painting & Finishing

Penwal Industries is hiring craftspeople to build and finish custom architectural and specialty projects. You do not need experience in every material or process listed below. We welcome applicants who bring some of these skills and are eager to learn, develop, and hone their craft alongside our team.What you’ll doBuild custom pieces from drawings, blueprints, and shop instructions.Fabricate and assemble components using materials such as wood, aluminum, metals, fiberglass, and plastics.Contribute to carpentry, surface preparation, painting, and finishing based on your experience and training.Learn additional processes that may include casting, mold-making, tooling, and jigs.Check your work for accuracy, fit, and finish.What we’re looking forHands-on experience in at least some of the materials or processes above.The ability to work from drawings or blueprints, or a willingness to develop that skill.Attention to detail, dependability, and a willingness to learn from experienced teammates.Experience in custom fabrication, specialty construction, scenic fabrication, millwork, or a related shop environment is helpful.Schedule: Full-time. Overtime may be available or required to meet project deadlines, including some Fridays and Saturdays.
