Customer Experience CoordinatorLevel Playing Field | Hybrid, Auckland preferred | 5-15 hours per weekEvery rangatahi deserves to be known, not just counted. At Level Playing Field, we believe sport should never be out of reach because of a bank balance, a postcode, or a barrier no one thought to ask about. We're not here to "target" communities, we're here to walk alongside them, shaped by the people we serve. We're looking for a Customer Experience Coordinator to help make that vision real, one conversation at a time. The RoleThis is a part-time, hybrid role (5-15 hours/week), with Auckland preferred but not essential, combining on-the-ground activity with flexible work from home. You'll be the warm, capable first point of contact for our rangatahi, their whānau, and our partner organisations: answering questions, sorting out issues, and making sure every interaction reflects what we stand for.Day to day, you'll:Be the go-to person for participants, whānau, and partners, responding with accuracy, warmth, and respectManage registrations and keep our records accurate and up to dateMonitor feedback channels and turn what you hear into real improvements, not just data points, but signals of what dignity and ease actually look like for the people we supportSupport event logistics alongside the wider teamTrack and report on customer insights and trends, feeding them back not just to funders but to rangatahi and whānau themselvesHelp build genuine, ongoing relationships, not transactional check ins, with everyone who comes through our doorsGo above and beyond when it counts, and think on your feet to solve problems as they come up, not just refer them onWhat You'll BringStrong customer service instincts: empathetic, patient, and genuinely good with people, especially our rangatahi and their whānauClear, respectful written and verbal communication across diverse stakeholdersAn analytical eye: you can spot a pattern in feedback and turn it into a practical fixA proactive, relationship first approach to customer satisfaction, and the initiative to go above and beyond the basicsA calm head for problem solving on the go, adapting quickly when something doesn't go to planExperience with youth, community organisations, sport, or education is a real advantageSolid organisational and time management skills: you can juggle part-time hours and competing priorities without dropping the ballComfort with digital tools and basic CRM or database systemsA genuine commitment to equity and inclusion, and a willingness to learn about the communities we serveWhy This Role MattersThis isn't a call centre job. It's the front door to an organisation trying to do something different: measure success not just in numbers, but in whether a young person felt like the process was simple, respectful, and dignified. If a target and a rangatahi's dignity ever pull in different directions, we choose dignity, and that starts with how this role shows up for people. If that sounds like the kind of work that gets you out of bed (even for just a few hours a week), we'd love to hear from you
