Customer Experience Manager

Role Description The Director role at the IEEE Computer Society SEU Student Branch Chapter is a full-time, on-site position based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The Director oversees the chapter’s strategic direction, plans and coordinates events, and ensures alignment with IEEE Computer Society guidelines and objectives. Responsibilities include leading the executive team, managing activity calendars, organizing technical and professional development programs, and fostering collaboration among students, faculty, and external partners. The Director supervises communication efforts, maintains relationships with sponsors and institutional stakeholders, and ensures efficient use of resources and adherence to organizational policies. The role also involves mentoring student members, promoting inclusive participation, and regularly reviewing the chapter’s performance to drive continuous improvement.QualificationsDemonstrated leadership and team management experience within student organizations or similar settings.Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to plan and execute multiple events and initiatives.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.Background in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline; familiarity with IEEE or technical societies is an advantage.Proven ability to build partnerships, coordinate with faculty and industry contacts, and represent the chapter professionally.Commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory practices and the professional development of student members.Ability to work on-site in Dhaka, Bangladesh and maintain a consistent full-time schedule.Experience in event coordination, budgeting, or administrative processes is beneficial.
