Customer Insight Manager

BRINGING IT TO THE ROLE As our Customer Insights Manager, you will: Lead YOMA F&B’s customer and market understanding through data-driven insights, research, and analytics; specifically for KFC Myanmar & YKKO. Provide strategic recommendations that influence product development, menu optimization, pricing, communication, brand positioning, and overall customer experience for relevant brand teams & management. This role will directly report to Head of Marketing; YOMA F&B. A. Consumer & Market Research

• Develop annual research roadmap (brand health, customer satisfaction, product testing, etc.).
• Conduct and manage qualitative and quantitative research to understand customer behaviors.
• Work with external research agencies when needed.
• Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and category shifts. B. Data Analytics & Reporting
• Manage & Analyze sales data, transaction patterns, and digital analytics.
• Provide actionable insights for menu planning, promotions, pricing, and operational improvements.
• Build and maintain dashboards for key metrics (customer satisfaction scores, repeat rate, NPS, etc.).
• Prepare insights reports for senior leadership. C. Customer Experience Insights
• Conduct customer journey mapping across dine-in, takeaway, and delivery.
• Identify pain-points and recommend improvement opportunities.
• Support the Retail Marketing & Operations team with insight for store experience improvements. D. Collaboration
• Work closely with Food Innovation, Retail Marketing, Brand Marketing, Corporate Sales, Creative, and Operations teams to inform strategies.
• Provide insights to support new product development and menu optimization. E. Strategic Advisory
• Present monthly insight updates and strategic recommendations directly to the Head of Marketing & related leadership members. We are looking for:
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Analytics, Economics, Statistics, or similar field.
• 4–6 years’ experience in research, analytics, or insights roles.
• Experience in F&B or retail industry is a strong advantage.
• Strong knowledge of data analytics tools (Excel, Power BI, Google Analytics, etc.).
• Experience with consumer research design and data interpretation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Good communication and storytelling skills (turning complex data into simple stories).
• Business-savvy with customer-centric mindset.
