Our state-of-the-art storage facility serves collectors, individuals, businesses, museums, galleries, and institutions in Southern California.This is a five-day on-site work week, and you'll need to be available to work Saturdays.Core Responsibilities:· Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly, professionally, and courteously, providing ahigh level of personalized service for clients storing fine art, wine, and other high-value property.Become an expert in self-storage customer service. Rent storage spaces and manage the leasing process, including payment processing. Must be reliable, responsible, and personable.Maintain the highest standards of discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism in all client interactions. Safeguard all confidential information. The employee must sign a Confidentiality Agreement and pass a drug test and background check before hiring.Consistently follow and monitor established safety, security, access-control, client verification procedures, and building and systems maintenance and repair protocols.Utilize Point of Sale Systems (POS) and Facility Management Software to process payments, manage customer accounts, maintain inventory, prepare rental agreements, and maintain accurate and confidential client records.Participate in day-to-day facility operations, including maintaining the reception area, office, private viewing rooms, and overall facility in an organized, secure, and professionally presentable condition. Responsibilities will include meeting with prospective clients off-site, providing private tours of the facility, and completing opening and closing procedures.Build strong relationships with new and existing clients through responsive, attentive service.Coordinate professionally with management, colleagues, vendors, and other authorized parties.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications & Skills:Two (2)+ years of experience in luxury customer service or a related field is desired but not required. The candidate must have familiarity with sales, direct client interaction, and onboarding new customers.A background or demonstrated interest in fine art is strongly preferred. Experience or knowledge with wine, collectibles, luxury goods, and other high-value property is also valued.Strong service and sales orientation, with the ability to understand a client's needs, clearly explain available storage options, and guide prospective clients through the rental process.Experience working with Microsoft Word and Excel is valued but not required.Bachelor's degree preferred; Master’s degree is valued but not required.Person of high integrity, honesty, transparency, and loyalty.
