Customer Service Executive

About the RoleWe are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service Executive to join our freight forwarding operations team in Singapore. In this role, you will act as the primary point of contact for clients, coordinating end-to-end import and export shipments across air, ocean, and land freight. You will ensure seamless communication between clients, carriers, overseas agents, and internal logistics teams while resolving operational challenges swiftly.Key ResponsibilitiesManage end-to-end customer service operations for air and ocean freight (import and export) from booking to billing.Handle client inquiries, quote requests, and booking confirmations in a prompt and professional manner.Coordinate with carriers, co-loaders, hauliers, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth cargo pickup and delivery schedules.Prepare, verify, and process shipping documentation including Bills of Lading, Air Waybills, Commercial Invoices, and permit declarations via TradeNet (permit-to-send/customs).Monitor shipment milestones and proactively update clients on transit statuses and any operational exceptions.Handle billing, invoicing, and dispute resolution accurately and within company financial closing cycles.RequirementsMinimum GCE 'O' / 'N' Levels, Diploma in Logistics/Supply Chain Management, or equivalent.At least 1 to 3 years of customer service experience within the freight forwarding or logistics industry in Singapore.Familiarity with Singapore customs procedures, TradeNet declarations, and local port/airport operations.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and industry-standard freight management software.Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle high-pressure environments.What We OfferCompetitive basic salary with performance-based AWS and variable bonuses.Comprehensive health, medical, and wellness benefitsCentral or accessible working location with hybrid work options available.
