Job DescriptionFull time or part time opportunity available for 2- 3 days per week. Must enjoy assisting pet owners and must LOVE animals!Garden City Veterinary Care aims to provide owners with sound, honest choices for their pets and to provide our patients with excellent and compassionate medical care. We strive to give our customers the best personalized service possible and to create a friendly, professional work environment for our awesome staff!As a Client Service Representative, your job tasks would include (but not limited to):Answering phonesTaking messagesScheduling AppointmentsAnswering E-mails and Communicating with clients via PetDeskChecking-In Clients and Patients; ensuring their file information is accurateCollecting and Processing Payments, cash handlingMaintaining a clean lobbyAccounting; Closing/Opening proceduresAssisting in animal handling of pets up to 50lbsAccurate communication with Outside Pharmacies, other Veterinary Clinics and clients.RoleThe Client Service Representative role is essential to the success of the hospital, and we are looking for a candidate will the following experience:1-2 years in a Customer Service/Customer Facing roleExcellent communication, multitasking and organizational skillsCompassion for our patients and their ownersTeam Player willing to learnSpanish language skills are a plus but not requiredHigh school diploma or GED1+ year in the Veterinary Field (preferred)Physical DemandsStanding and walking up to 25% of the time.Computer work.High stress environment.Garden City Veterinary Care prides itself on the diversity of its staff.
