Apply & track with Apply EdgeIf you believe you are the ideal candidate for our Customer Service Specialist role and are motivated to contribute to customer satisfaction, order management, and international logistics operations, we would be pleased to meet you.https://www.aksa-carbon.com/tr/More About This RoleWhat you need to know about this position:Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Foreign Trade, Supply Chain or similar fields,Preferably 2 years of work experience in customer service, logistics, international operations (especially export), or customs brokerage,Familiarity with customs, international and domestic transportation processes and operations,Good understanding of order management, shipment processes, and related documentation,Proficiency in written and spoken English,Good knowledge of MS Office applications; preferably experience with Oracle ERP,Strong communication, follow-up and coordination skills, with a collaborative and team-oriented approach,Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a willingness to learn and continuously improve,Strong customer-oriented mindset and ability to manage customer requests effectively,Residing in or willing to relocate to Yalova or Karamürsel,No restriction on domestic or international travel.Main Duties & ResponsibilitiesResponsible for managing customer orders and requests and coordinating the movement of goods out of the company in compliance with all applicable local laws and regulations; monitor and manage customer orders from origin to final destination to ensure accurate and timely processing of shipments,Understand and follow the processes, documentation, and terminology involved in international shipping from the issuance of the customer’s purchase order through the delivery of goods,Process and ensure the accuracy of customs and export documentation (e.g. Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, ATR, Origin Documents, etc.) in compliance with destination country requirements and Turkish Customs rules and regulations,Respond to customer and customs broker requests, resolve operational issues, and handle incidents in a timely and effective manner,Proactively manage day-to-day operational challenges and coordinate closely with internal and external stakeholders, including Sales, Purchasing, Planning, Warehouse, Finance, Customs Brokers, and Forwarder Companies, to ensure smooth order and shipment processes,Provide timely status updates to customers and relevant internal stakeholders regarding orders, shipments, potential delays, and operational issues,Enter and maintain transportation and shipment data accurately in internal and external tracking systems,Follow up on customer orders, shipment status, delivery timelines, and potential deviations, taking necessary actions and escalating issues when required,Contribute to the continuous improvement and development of customer service, order management, and export processes,Update relevant changes within the Export Trade Compliance Manual as required, and maintain and share updated information with colleagues.Work-Life BalanceNew employees are provided with accommodation at the company’s social facilities for up to 6 months to support their relocation and onboarding process.Employee shuttle services covering Istanbul Asia Side, Yalova, and Kocaeli (Karamürsel–Gölcük).
