Team OverviewThe Sales Engineering team bridges customer needs and company technology, providing solution design, technical credibility, and risk mitigation to drive successful sales outcomes and long-term customer success. The team is globally distributed, covering all major financial markets.Role OverviewThe Sales Engineer acts as the technical authority and trusted advisor throughout the sales lifecycle—translating customer business and operational requirements into resilient, compliant, and supportable solutions. Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Discovery & Qualification: Understand business workflows (trading, operations, risk), technical environment, and compliance constraints; validate technical feasibility earlySolution Architecture & Design: Design end-to-end solutions; produce architecture diagrams and redundancy/DR designs that are scalable and standards-alignedProduct Demonstrations: Deliver compelling, customer-relevant demos using product-led storytellingRisk Management: Identify and mitigate design, integration, and environment risks; raise concerns earlyCross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Professional Services, Managed Services, and Product & EngineeringBid Support: Lead technical responses for RFIs, RFPs, and customer assurance inquiriesSales Enablement: Support customer workshops, technical deep dives, and executive briefingsKnowledge Development: Stay current with products, industry trends, and the competitive landscapeRequirements5–8 years of relevant experience as a Sales Engineer; financial markets services experience is a strong plusBachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experienceTechnical Skills (one or more areas)IP networking, VoIP, SIP, SBC, LAN/WAN designCloud platforms: Azure, AWS, Google CloudVirtualization & containerization: Kubernetes, Docker, KVMSecurity: certificates, encryption, authentication, firewallsEnvironments: Windows, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Teams, Red Hat LinuxApplication integration: OpenFin, FDC3, REST APIs, XML, SOAPVoice recording and archivingAI automation/analysis/bot integrationWhat We OfferCompetitive base salary, a collaborative high-performance team environment, and a range of programs to enhance your overall employee experience.
