Customs AnalystLocation: Detroit, MI 48212 Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 4 days in office, 1 day remote Shift: 1st Shift, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM Job DescriptionGather and analyze daily broker files, entry packets, and ACE data related to imports and exports. Support import/export transactions, including documentation generation. Perform data mining for escalations, reporting, and root-cause investigations involving HTS, part numbers, suppliers, country of origin (COO), and other discrepancies. Conduct data mining and investigations based on requests from Sales, Purchasing, and other business functions, and summarize findings. Investigate filings for accuracy and identify required actions, including broker filing changes, missing documentation, additional solicitations, and other compliance requirements. Provide post-entry/post-filing support, including monitoring brokers for corrective actions, resolving missing entry package documentation, investigating data discrepancies, and coordinating meetings to close investigations. Create periodic reports and presentations for weekly calls with key business partners, brokers, and stakeholders. Perform other duties as assigned.  QualificationsExperience Required: 5+ years of experience working with import and export shipments across a variety of global countries. Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.  Must Have5+ years of experience working with import and export shipments across a variety of global countries.
