More information about the company and its services is available at http://www.expressfreight.com.Role Description The Customs Broker is a full-time, on-site role based in National Capital District, Papua New Guinea. The role is responsible for preparing and lodging customs declarations, coordinating import and export documentation, and ensuring compliance with local and international customs regulations. Daily tasks include liaising with customs authorities, shipping lines, and clients, resolving clearance issues, and monitoring shipment status to avoid delays. The Customs Broker collaborates with internal operations and customer service teams to provide accurate advice on tariffs, duties, and regulatory requirements. The role also involves maintaining up-to-date knowledge of customs policies and trade agreements and contributing to process improvements that enhance service quality and efficiency.Applicant must hold a current PNG Customs Agent’s License:Have a copy of Customs Examination resultHave Certificate of training in AW++ and/or AWEmployment certificate as compiler/broker from previous employer and clear referencesBe competent and proficient in Asycuda World (AW)Have knowledge of customs law and proceduresHave a current driver’s licenseHave some good communication skillsHave Police Clearance CertificateBe able to work under pressure and extended hours if requiredBe of sober habitsAnd must not have:Standing warning letter from customs for violations and/or misclassificationUnpaid penalty with customs (records will be checked with customs)The position is available for prompt start with conditions commensurate with experience.**Please include your Broker Appointment Certificate and send it to pomhr@efmpng.com.
