Customs Brokerage ManagerSecaucus, NJ | $90,000–$115,000 Base + BenefitsAn established international logistics and customs-brokerage organization is seeking an experienced Customs Brokerage Manager to lead daily brokerage operations from its Moonachie, New Jersey office.This is a hands-on leadership position for a Licensed Customs Broker who can oversee Entry Writers, maintain compliance and filing accuracy, resolve complex entry issues, and step directly into entry processing when operational needs require it.The right person will have meaningful influence over team development, workflow, operating procedures, and the continued growth of the Customs Brokerage operation.What You’ll Be DoingOversee daily Customs Brokerage workflow, priorities, and entry-processing activity.Review Customs entries and supporting documentation for accuracy and compliance.Guide Entry Writers on CBP regulations, documentation, classifications, and filing requirements.Prepare, review, and file Customs entries when additional operational support is needed.Resolve rejected entries, RFIs, Customs holds, and documentation discrepancies.Support compliance involving CBP and Partner Government Agencies.Train, coach, and develop Entry Writers and brokerage support employees.Maintain and improve SOPs, workflow, turnaround time, and operational accuracy.Required BackgroundActive U.S. Customs Broker License required.5+ years of direct U.S. Customs Brokerage Operations experience.Strong hands-on experience preparing, filing, or reviewing Customs entries.Thorough understanding of CBP regulations, import documentation, and trade compliance.Experience supervising, mentoring, or technically leading Entry Writers.Ability to identify and resolve entry, documentation, and compliance issues.Comfortable working onsite in Moonachie, New Jersey.Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.Why Consider This Opportunity?Management-level role with direct operational influence.Opportunity to lead and develop an established brokerage team.Hands-on responsibility without being limited to individual entry production.Visibility with company leadership.Ability to improve procedures, workflow, compliance, and team performance.Competitive compensation based on Customs Brokerage leadership experience.
