Customs Brokerage ManagerLocation: Atlanta, GASalary: $110,000 - $120,000 + BenefitsAltius Talent is partnering with a global freight forwarding company to recruit an experienced Customs Brokerage Manager for their Atlanta office.This is an excellent opportunity for a Customs Brokerage professional looking to step into a leadership role with an internationally recognised logistics provider. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day Customs Brokerage operation, ensuring full compliance with CBP regulations while leading and developing a team of four.ResponsibilitiesManage the daily Customs Brokerage operation within the Atlanta branch.Lead, mentor and develop a team consisting of 1 Customs Brokerage Supervisor and 3 Customs Entry Writers.Ensure all customs entries are processed accurately, efficiently and in compliance with CBP regulations.Oversee customs clearance activities across Air, Ocean and Domestic freight shipments.Monitor team productivity, performance and service levels.Provide technical guidance on customs regulations, tariff classifications and compliance matters.Work closely with Operations, Sales and customers to ensure a seamless customs clearance process.Handle escalated customs issues and resolve any clearance delays.Maintain compliance with all CBP regulations and internal company procedures.Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiencies and overall department performance.Support training and onboarding of new team members.RequirementsMinimum 5 years' experience within Customs Brokerage.Previous leadership or supervisory experience managing a Customs Brokerage team.Strong knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations and compliance.CargoWise One experience is essential.Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) is highly desirable but not essential.Strong understanding of Air Freight, Ocean Freight and Customs Brokerage operations.Excellent communication and leadership skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced freight forwarding environment.PackageBase salary of $110,000 - $120,000Comprehensive benefits packageCareer progression within a leading global freight forwarderSupportive and collaborative working environmentOpportunity to lead and develop an established Customs Brokerage team
