In this role, the executive is responsible for coordinating and managing customs clearance processes for imports and exports, ensuring compliance with UAE customs regulations and relevant international trade laws. Daily tasks include preparing and reviewing shipping and customs documentation, liaising with customs authorities, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders, and tracking shipments to ensure timely clearance and delivery. The role also involves maintaining accurate records, resolving discrepancies or clearance issues, updating internal systems, and providing regular status reports to management. The executive is expected to support process improvements, uphold company policies, and contribute to efficient, compliant trade operations.Qualifications Strong knowledge of customs regulations, import/export procedures, and trade compliance in the UAE.Experience managing documentation such as invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and customs declarations.Proficiency in using logistics, customs clearance, and ERP or tracking systems.Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines.Effective communication and negotiation skills for coordinating with customs officers, vendors, and internal teams.Ability to analyze and resolve clearance issues, discrepancies, and regulatory challenges.Prior experience in logistics, freight forwarding, trading, or a similar operations role is highly beneficial.Relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or a related field is preferred.Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
