📌 Role OverviewWe are seeking an efficient, detail-oriented Customs Clearance Executive to manage the legal entry and exit of goods across UAE ports. You will be responsible for handling all import/export documentation, calculating tariffs, and ensuring strict compliance with Dubai Customs, Dubai Municipality, and federal regulations to prevent operational delays.⚙️ Core ResponsibilitiesDocumentation Control: Prepare, review, and submit accurate customs declarations, bills of entry, commercial invoices, and delivery orders.Portal Management: Process clearing codes and applications swiftly using online government systems like Mirsal II (Dubai Trade), Abu Dhabi Customs, or Bayan.Compliance & HS Codes: Classify imported/exported goods under correct Harmonized System (HS) Codes to ensure accurate duty calculations and avoid fines.Inspection Coordination: Liaise directly with sea, air, and land customs inspectors to facilitate physical cargo checks, clear holds, and arrange smooth releases.Stakeholder Bridge: Coordinate smoothly between shipping lines, freight forwarders, logistics teams, and clients regarding clearance timelines.🎓 Candidate RequirementsExperience: Minimum 2–4 years of direct customs clearing experience within the UAE logisitics or trading sectors.Local Regulations: Deep technical knowledge of GCC Customs laws, free zone rules (e.g., JAFZA, DAFZA), and regulatory bodies (e.g., MOIAT, Municipality approvals).Skills: Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills in English
