Customs Clearance Manager

On behalf of ICT company Huawei Technologies, we are looking for an experienced Customs Clearance Manager.🔹 Requirements:

• Advanced English proficiency – mandatory
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Customs Clearance, Supply Chain or Freight Forwarding in Chile
• Strong knowledge of Chilean Customs procedures and regulations
• Experience handling import, export, re-export and transit shipments
• Knowledge of customs documentation and clearance procedures
• Experience coordinating with customs agencies, logistics providers, suppliers and internal teams
• Strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Experience in international logistics and supply chain operations will be highly valued🔹 Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee customs clearance operations for import, export, re-export and transit shipments
• Ensure compliance with Chilean customs regulations and internal company policies
• Coordinate with customs agencies, freight forwarders, logistics providers and government authorities
• Review and ensure accuracy of customs documentation and shipping records
• Monitor customs clearance processes and resolve operational issues to ensure timely and efficient cargo release
• Coordinate with internal Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance and Logistics teams
• Track shipments, clearance status, costs and potential customs-related risks
• Identify opportunities to optimize customs and logistics processes, reducing delays and operational costs
• Support the implementation and improvement of supply chain and customs procedures📍 Working Location: Santiago, Chile
